I often get questioned about the name i-maani. Better still when I receive a phonecall, occasionally I hear "can I speak to i-maani please?". i-maani is a combination of my dearest two children's names - Isha('i') and Amaan (nicknamed 'maani'). They are the reason for what I have achieved today. As any new doting father, I became a keen camera enthusiast capturing my kids special moments as they were growing up.

It's only when a very close friend of mine approached me and asked if I would photograph his marriage, that I actually had the opportunity to shoot a wedding. Although daunting at first, to my surprise I loved the whole experience. I was doing what I most enjoyed, capturing those special, timeless moments that would be appreciated by others for many years to come.

The response I received was phenomenal and definitely life changing. I have been a wedding photojournalist ever since, and now work alongside my wife to further uphold my passion for the finest wedding photography.

According to the marriage culture of today, the role of a wedding photographer is fundamental and highly challenging. I thrive on the trust that my clients feel towards me, and feel honoured each time I am chosen to capture their special moments on the biggest day of their lives. Alongside the feeling of great responsibility, there is an even greater and deeper sense of reward and satisfaction.
