FAQ's
What Sets You Apart From Other Wedding Photographers?
What sets us apart is that we have been together for over 20 years and have a fair amount of life experience. We have played all of the roles in the stories we capture, right through from being a bride and groom, to siblings, to best friends to being parents. Our photography is not just about picking up a camera and taking great shots, it's much more than that. It's a collective of our experiences being applied to the moment we are capturing where we really can relate to the people, their feelings and emotions. We find having a female and male perspective really works and results in a beautiful blend to our photography.
What's your style?
The reason our work appeals to our clients, is that it is very clean, contemporary and gives a look that is real and true to the day. We do not believe in over processing images. We manipulate light in various methods to achive the desired look for our photographs. We love to capture the essence of the day by taking photographs that are striking and vivid in colour, which reflect all emotions felt on the day. We capture natural expressions, without staging or interfering in the ceremonies. Our style is a documentary approach that will tell your story.
Where are you based and do you travel?
We are based in Maidenhead, Northwest London and yes we will travel. There is no event too far for us to come to to document your special day. As well as photographing events within London and the UK, we have been privileged to have been invited to cover weddings in Los Angeles, Florida, Paris, India, Jordan, Italy and Malta. We have worked at a variety of wedding venues with the most popular being, Beaumont House, Effingham Park Hotel, Newland Manor, Sattavis Patidar Centre, Oshwal Centre, Hare Krishna Temple, Moor Park, Shendish Manor, The Landmark Hotel, Grosvenor House, Sofitel Heathrow, The Grove, The Natural History Museum, Wrest Park, Hedsor House, Syon Park & Cliveden House.
How many pictures will we receive?
This really does vary from story to story. There are many factors, from how big the family is, to the number of hours coverage. When you get in touch with us and we have discussed all of the details of your event(s) we can give you a better idea.
So What Experience do you have?
We document weddings from all backgrounds and religions, however, our experience is mainly derived from Asian Weddings such as Sikh, Hindu and Muslim events. We have also covered Christian Church Weddings and Civil Events.
Do You Do Engagement Shoots?
Yes of course! These are great fun and a chance to spend some time with us before the wedding day. It's a great way of getting to know each other on and off camera. Depending on what type of Engagement shoot you would like to do we can storyboard and plan various ways of executing the shoot. Some couples prefer a more casual relaxed approach, whereas some of our couples have very set ideas of a particular location or theme that they would like highlighted. So whatever you are thinking of there is no limit to what can be done!
Will both of you come to shoot my event?
Our photography style is very much a result of us working together. We work as a tag team and we know our positions and what we like to be able to capture within our roles on the day. It's difficult to produce the same style as what you see here online if only one of us were present. It's not impossible, but we feel the final delivery would not be fair representation of what we do.
Do we choose the final selection for the album?
Of course! We would love nothing more than for you to make the final selections. We are at hand to help you and many couples end up leaving it to us to finalise the story as we were there on the day and witnessed everything first hand. We would leave that decision completely up to you, but it's a great opportunity to work together.
How Will I Receive My Images?
You will receive your images in the form of an online link. This will take you to your own personal online portal where you can view, download and share all of your images. You can also make your album selections from there. We do also have personalised USB drives if you prefer.
Do You Have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes we do, as most larger venues do require these and we have an up to date certificate that we can send to you or directly to your venue.
Do You Provide Additional Retouching Services?
Additional retouching is something that we can offer, although we do try and do the bare minimum we can to our photographs. We believe in getting it right in camera on the day and minimising the editing process.
There are the basics to editing such as colour correction, tonal work and cropping as a standard. There are also a few artistic shots that may require some additional work to make it special as its own piece, but overall, as you can see from our work, it's important for us that the images are as kept as true to the day as possible.
